Epoxy Glass Vertical A+B is a two-component, thixotropic epoxy adhesive that is semi-transparent and nearly odorless. Designed for long-lasting bonding of granite and marble (including very light varieties), this adhesive is recommended for all types of natural and engineered stones, as well as heterogeneous materials.
It provides excellent adhesion to substrates such as wood, metal, glass, cement, and concrete. Once cured, it stands out for its high transparency and glass-like structure. It performs well even on difficult or damp substrates, where polyester-based fillers typically show poor adhesion. Thanks to its thixotropic consistency, it is suitable for vertical applications, and its negligible shrinkage allows deep cracks to be filled in a single operation.
Key features:
- Excellent adhesion on various materials and substrates
- Adheres to damp surfaces
- High transparency after curing
- Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use
- Resistant to weather, acid rain, and seawater
- Resistant to solvents, alkaline environments (suitable for concrete/cement), and acids
- Minimal yellowing
- Negligible shrinkage
- Low odor
Instructions for use:
1. Carefully clean the surfaces, removing all dust, loose particles, cement residues, plaster, grease, wax, etc. For better adhesion, slightly roughen the surface.
2. Mix components A and B thoroughly for at least 3 minutes in the exact ratio of 100:50 (A:B). Use separate tools to dispense the components to avoid contamination. It is recommended to prepare small batches (maximum 400–500 g) at a time to ensure a workable time before curing begins.
3. Using a notched spatula, spread the mixture on a clean and preferably dry surface (slightly damp surfaces are also acceptable). For metal surfaces, sandblasting or roughening is recommended.
Curing takes 3 to 5 hours depending on ambient conditions. Bonded parts can be moved after 8 to 10 hours, and sanding/polishing can be done after 24 hours.
Warnings: do not apply at temperatures below 10°C. Does not adhere to silicone, polyethylene, Teflon, or certain plastics. Prolonged exposure to UV or ultraviolet light may cause yellowing or clouding. Do not use the product once it enters the gel phase. Never return unused mixed product to the original container. Store between 15°C and 25°C. Curing is accelerated by heat and slowed by low temperatures.
