Concrete Hardener Lithium is a water-based solution made from lithium silicate that acts as a densifier, hardener, and fast protection for concrete and cement surfaces. It significantly improves both the appearance and mechanical properties of concrete. Its formulation ensures faster hardening of the treated surface compared to conventional silicates, enhancing abrasion resistance while providing an anti-slip effect. The new formula has been designed to quickly protect the substrate during the silicate's curing process, reducing the risk of penetration and staining by oily substances, colored aqueous solutions, or chemically aggressive agents.

Instructions for use

1. On cured concrete:

- Surfaces must be cohesive, dust-free, clean, and dry, with no contaminants that could compromise product absorption.
- If the surface has been previously treated with acidic substances, perform a neutralizing wash with alkaline products.
- Surface temperature should be between 5°C and 40°C. Avoid application during high temperatures or direct sunlight.

2. In grinding and polishing cycles:

- On smooth substrates, use low-pressure sprayers, spray the product, and spread it evenly using a microfiber cloth.
- If absorption takes too long and excess product remains after one hour, remove it with an auto-scrubber. If absorption is immediate, adjust the quantity to keep the substrate wet for 20–30 minutes.
- Once dry, Concrete Hardener Lithium can be polished with a high-speed burnisher equipped with a diamond pad (grit 800 or 1500) to achieve a more durable and shiny surface.

3. On fresh concrete:

- Wait for the fresh concrete to reach sufficient mechanical strength before applying the product.
- As a densifier, the treatment can be applied immediately after pouring, troweling, or smoothing. If a curing compound has been used, it must be removed before applying Concrete Hardener Lithium.

4. On colored concrete and concrete with colored quartz dust:

- Concrete Hardener Lithium protects the color by slightly enhancing the shade and gloss.

Coverage: in grinding cycles, the coverage is 15–20 m²/L, depending on the roughness and absorbency of the substrate as well as the application method. The treated area can be used a few hours after the application, bearing in mind that the full reaction is completed within two weeks.
