Giorda Fort, an alkaline solvent-based cleaner, is a high-performance stripping agent specifically formulated to remove old wax or oil-based treatments from terracotta and natural stone. It is a highly concentrated product.
Key features:
- Effectively removes old oil and/or wax impregnation treatments and persistent greasy residues from stone materials, even delicate ones (e.g., polished marble, slate).
- Ideal for powerful degreasing, eliminating stubborn greasy dirt build-up and biological incrustations (e.g., outdoor blackening).
- Helps remove “dark stains” caused by sulfation on terracotta and leaves no harmful residue in absorbent materials.
- Produces no unpleasant odor during or after use.
Directions for use:
It can be used either undiluted or diluted in water:
- Undiluted Giorda Fort: for removing wax, heavy oil/wax residues, stubborn greasy dirt, organic build-up, and sulfation "dark stains" on terracotta.
- Giorda Fort diluted 1:1 with water: for strong degreasing cleaning where needed.
1. Under normal stripping conditions, apply the product evenly on the surface and let it act for at least 10–20 minutes.
2. Scrub the surface using a pad, fiber disc, or nylon brush.
3. For tough treatments, use undiluted product and let it dry on the surface to increase resistance to future waxing.
4. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.
5. On acid-resistant surfaces, neutralize with an acidic water-based solution.
6. For more delicate materials (e.g., polished marble, polished pebbles, slate), rinse thoroughly with clean water only.
Coverage:
Depending on the type and level of dirt and material absorption:
- For heavy-duty cleaning: 1L for 4-8 m²
- For normal cleaning: 1L for 10-15 m²
Packaging: 5L
